Our Background
The concept of the lightweight panel orginated from Australia in the 1970's and spread across Asia and the Western world. However, the pace of adoption in Africa has been slow, as the brick and mortar build is still more popular.
With years of experience, research and development behond it, Ecopanel is our adaption of this low-cost building technology for the African market. We are tackling the ago-old challenge of affordable housing, that is accessible and scalable for the generality of Zimbweans.
Built for Africa
Ecopanels are a climate smart, pre-fabricated, modular, building material that combines the benefits of long-term durability with efficient and time-saving construction techniques.
They are waterproof, fire-resistant, impact-resistant and have a 30 year life-span / warranty. Our panels have been analyzed, stress & compression-tested and received approvals from SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) as well as the City of Harare.
